Prerequisites

Safety classes and fundamental training, no prerequisites (K33, NRA or other curriculum).

Level 1 No prerequisites

Level 2 required to have attended level 1 or have a certificate from another training organization, waiver available on case by case basis.

Level 3 required to have attended level 2 or have a certificate from another training organization, waiver available on case by case basis.

No pistol permit required for training, all weapons must be l legally owned by the shooter.

Screening on individuals is conducted by K33 staff.

 

Scheduling

All pre registration due no less than 24 hours prior to start of the class. To schedule your own class give us a call          860-276-9742 or email us info@king33training.com we have a calendar with dates and classes available but you don’t have to wait for those dates you can schedule your own private class and create your own custom class as well. We train during the week and on weekends! Private and custom training prices are $125/hr for 1 hr, $100/hr for 2 hrs and $85/hr for 3 or more hrs per person.

Through King 33 Simulated Scenario Based Awareness and Safety program only recently made available to the public King 33 can now prepare individuals to handle a life or limb situation regardless of where or when we find ourselves in it. And while firearms are one aspect of preparedness the situational awareness King 33 will instill in our clients will allow them to be prepared for any situation.

Whether or not you carry a firearm personally, through the scenario training provided by King 33 and the use of the Simunition training system you will be taught about situational awareness before, during and after a hostile encounter. King 33 clients will develop a better understanding of what they can do and what they may need to do. Only once we fully understand our own capabilities and limits can we train at the edge of those limits and push our improvement and development.

Through Simunition, live fire, and awareness training we will all be much more prepared to take care of ourselves and have a better understanding of safety both with and without firearms on our person. This will provide customers an opportunity for all King 33 clients to become more responsible citizens and provide them knowledge and training to rely on in the event that we should need the assistance of a first re-sponder.

 

Private company and Agency capability

King 33′s unique combination of indoor and outdoor work space including the 1,100 square foot residential mockup is available to our highly-valued law enforcement and military clients for training. We can provide the training infrastructure including supplemental equipment such as Simunition converted firearms and approved Simunitions safety gear, experienced Simunition scenario role-players and opposition force, training consultation, or full-spectrum training for your agency or teams.

Private 1:1 training

We offer private instruction, we practice discretion when providing private instruction to our clients.

Rates begin at $125 per hour for one hour, $100 per hour for 2 hours and $85 per hour for 3 or more hours, this is for any of our open enrollment as well your custom training needs.

 

Movement technique training

Experience: N/A Recommended for those wanting to learn about the Simunition training system and want to move in a 360 degree range with multiple targets.
Includes: 1  hour of practical application training time. The training environment is in doors, one on one instruction, multiple target scenarios and multiple teammate scenarios.
Price: $50 for practical application with scenarios and Simunition/FX, you will use the Simunition training system in a 360 degree environment while moving.

 

Low Light Training

Experience: N/A Recommended for those learning how to or improving low light tactics and techniques for personal or home defense
Includes: 2  hours of practical application training time. The training environment is indoors and or outdoors with one on one and group instruction and covers safe weapons handling and fundamentals of firearm training.
Price: $125 for practical application with training and Simunition/FX.

 

Low Visibility Course

Registration form: Registration 1

This course was designed to give the student techniques to control a firearm utilizing a handheld flash light and a familiarization to a weapon mounted light. Students will be given a quick over view of techniques on how to properly deploy both a firearm with a flashlight and a weapon mounted light. After the brief overview students will be placed on static range will they will be required to fire at static targets utilizing a Simunitions FX ® firearm and flashlight.

Once students have completed the initial static range each student will then transition to the King 33 shoot house. Each student will go through 3 scenarios where they will first learn to properly search an area. The 2^nd scenario will require students to go through the shoot house and encounter a threat. Finally students will be given a familiarization of the use of a weapon mounted light on both a pistol and an AR weapons platform.

Upon completion students will given an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the training.

What do you do when caught in the crossfire?

This program is offered in 2 parts, seminar and practical application.

The seminar will be on a topic chosen by K33 and lasts 2 hours, this topic will be taught and opened up for discussion with the group, no limit to size. $35

The practical application part will immediately follow and we will run scenarios on the topics discussed in the seminar. $65

 

IDPA, 3 Gun

King 33 runs a new version of competative shooting with Simunition, your targets are real, they move and shoot back! You will be graded per the rule book but you will learn vital lessons in speed, accuracy and cover!

 

Safe Weapons Handling classes

Experience: N/A Recommended for those learning how to shoot or want to maintain your fundamentals
Includes: 1  hour of practical application training time. The training environment is indoors with one on one instruction and covers safe weapons handling and fundamentals of firearm training.
Price: $125 for practical application with training and Simunition/FX.

 

Open enrollment options for King 33 training

Experience: Previous SSBAST client or approved registration from trainee

Includes: 2-hour training blocks, each of these could be a block of very introductory training through very high levels of training. Training takes place on private scheduling or pre-scheduled nights with supervision and light training tips.

 Family Protection

We will discuss This class is for families, at least 2 people of the same family. We will discuss defense planning, self defense, personal protection and home defense and run simulations on the subjects for practical application of the learned subjects. We will discuss the use of various self defense tools, blunt/edged, pepper spray and firearms in the use of self defense and in order to react to them if used against you.

Introductory class (indoc)

Active Shooter Defense Seminar

Registration form: Registration 1

This block of instruction is 2 parts.

Part 1

2 hour Seminar on topic (K33 will choose topic). This 2 hours will be broken down into 30 minutes of topics and instruction on topics by K33 staff. The remaining 90 minutes is reserved for K33 staff and the attendee’s.

How it works, K33 staff hosts and leads the seminar, invites subject matter experts such as Law Enforcement, medical or legal experts to participate in the discussion.

There is a $35 entry fee to attend the seminar.

Part 2

2 hour practical application on seminar topic (K33 will choose topic). This 2 hours will be broken down into simulations in various environments, personal/family/colleague protection in the urban, rural, residential and commercial setting.

How it works, there will be 3 set simulations for the group, each simulation increasing on threat introduced in the chosen environment and increasing the appropriate response of the group. This simulation will require the use of Simunition from time to time. For these simulations you will be responsible for your own eye protection and groin protection.

There is a $65 entry fee to attend the simulation.
